Mallorca. A land of sun, sea and sand, where life seems to slow down as soon as you step off the plane. And when it comes to beaches in Mallorca for relaxing – well, let’s just say there are some absolute gems waiting to be discovered.

And with so many options available, you’ll never have to jostle for space or worry about excessive crowds ruining that sense of tranquillity.
So grab yourself an ice-cold drink (preferably one with a little umbrella sticking out of it), sit back and let me take you on a virtual tour through some of Mallorca’s most picturesque beaches…

☝️ How we rated the services below:
Looking for a place to relax and unwind? Look no further than the beautiful beaches of Mallorca! But with so many options, how do you know which ones are best for your needs? To help guide you, we’ve put together a list of our expertly curated criteria for choosing the best beaches in Mallorca for relaxing:
- Location: A good beach should be easily accessible but not too crowded. We searched for those that were centrally located on the island but still remote enough to avoid large crowds.
- Scenery: The views from the sand should be breathtaking, with crystal-clear water and stunning coastal landscapes being essential components.
- Atmosphere: For genuine relaxation, we sought out sandy shores that have an all-encompassing atmosphere—serene with limited waves so that visitors could listen to music or simply read their books undisturbed by noise or events happening around them.
- Amenities: While there’s something to be said about basic services (like restrooms and showers), some people may enjoy having amenities such as restaurants nearby in case they work up an appetite while relaxing.

Caló des Borgit
⭐ An Unfiltered Assessment of Caló des Borgit:
Nestled in a serene corner of the Balearic Sea lies the stunning Caló des Borgit. As soon as I arrived, I knew this was the ultimate beach destination for adventurers and nature enthusiasts alike. The breathtaking turquoise waters, soaring cliffs and peaceful ambience is simply enchanting – it’s hard not to fall head-over-heels in love with this little hidden gem.
While walking on the good path that runs almost parallel to the coast leading to other beaches, my excitement grew stronger with each step. The picturesque trail made trekking so much more fun! But what truly caught my eye were those magnificent cliffs surrounding Caló des Borgit – you have to climb them for a better view! It’s perfect for photos; daring souls who are unafraid of heights can test their skills by trying out some cool cliff-jumping stunts into the crystal-clear waters below!
Despite everything Caló des Borgit has going for it, there was one major drawback in September 21: algae infestation which ruined our swimming plans completely. However, we just found another way to enjoy its beauty- laying down while sunbathing and getting lost in thought while admiring mother nature at her finest. That said if you’re planning on visiting any other time don’t let this last setback put you off experiencing this heavenly little bay with a nice restaurant/snack bar serving treats that will leave your taste buds tingling long after leaving.
In conclusion, if you crave adventure or are looking for an escape from mundane tourist hotspots then Caló des Borgit is definitely worth making plans around! With its awe-inspiring scenery coupled with photography opportunities galore (do yourself a favour). This place epitomizes all things natural beauty.
👍 Our Reasons for Recommending:
- Beautiful turquoise waters
- Perfect for walking and trekking
- Great photo opportunities

I went twice at sunrise when things were still quiet, and both times I was struck by how pristine everything was. Alcudia beach
⭐ Our Unvarnished Impressions of Alcudia beach:
Stepping on the Alcudia beach was like stepping into paradise. Pale golden sands stretching as far as my eyes could see, palm trees swaying gently in the breeze and crystal-clear turquoise waters inviting me to take a dip. I visited during January when hardly anyone was around, making it even more special for me. The sand is dense, which makes it easier to walk on but firm beneath your feet compared to other beaches I have been to. Although some of the restrooms were closed when I went there, this did not hinder my experience in any way.
One of the aspects that stood out for me at Alcudia beach was how child-friendly it is; with non-existent waves, shallow entrance and plenty of shells beckoning kids for collecting! Moreover, snorkelling around the piers proved a rather delightful way of exploring new things as there isn’t much current or rocks submerged in water compared to other areas.
Cleanliness levels are impressive too – from well-maintained toilets and showers sure made an impression! It’s worth mentioning that everyone here seems lovely too – couples holding hands strolling down the shoreline sets an intimate vibe while families engrossed in their own experiences just adds more charm overall.
In conclusion, if you’re looking for a picturesque scene complete with pristine waters waiting to be discovered by you with wide stretches ideal for shell collectors young & old alike –look no further than Alcudia Beach ‘coz once here..you simply won’t want leave!

What Are The Pros And Cons Of visiting a Beach in Mallorca for Relaxing?
Hey there, beach lovers! If you’re planning a sunny escape to Mallorca and in the mood for some relaxing vibes, then let’s dive into the pros and cons of some of the best beaches on offer.
On the upside, there are plenty of breathtaking secluded coves where you can soak up all that vitamin D without being disturbed by hundreds of sunbathers. These hidden gems provide an ideal setting for revitalizing your senses, taking a good book or just focusing on meditation.
However, while escaping from hoards of people is excellent (especially if they’re loud and obnoxious), it also means giving up any access to facilities such as bathrooms or bars. So don’t get too relaxed with your beverage intake!
Another downside could be finding just how far away many beaches are from accommodations or cities. Renting a car may still take time travelling under hot sun circumstances which makes water heated earlier than you think it should be – so timing becomes critical regarding transportation modes!
But fear not brave vacationers because these drawbacks will soon become afterthoughts once you set foot in your chosen idyllic paradise (literally!). The natural beauty is simply awe-inspiring- hills bursting with greenery crashing down onto pristine sand washed over endlessly by waves emanating deep calmness from within!
So go ahead and pack your favourite swimsuit alongside that bottle of pina colada mix because regardless we know one thing: there IS no perfect holiday destination but those who search will find places which leave them hankering for more beach therapy!
PROS
- Stunning natural scenic beauty
- Centrally located within easy access
- Serene environment ideal for relaxation
CONS
- Crowds gathering at peak periods
- The beaches may attract occasional tourists seeking activities other than tranquil beach therapy.
- Some areas lack basic modern conveniences
Conclusion
So, there it is! A comprehensive guide to the best beaches in Mallorca for relaxing. You can thank me later for making your holiday planning a whole lot easier.
Of course, you could just ignore all of my recommendations and spend your days cramped up on a packed beach with no space to breathe or move. But let’s be honest, only masochists would go that route.
Instead, why not take advantage of these hidden gems? Picture yourself lying back on the soft sand (not like that crunchy stuff elsewhere) while sipping an ice-cold drink – blissful, right?
And don’t forget about the top-notch services available at these beaches. Whether it’s massages or cocktails that tickle your fancy (hopefully not both at once), you’re guaranteed to have a fantastic time!
So what are you waiting for? Start packing those swimsuits and get a booking now! And make sure to share your experiences with us because nothing makes us happier than seeing people indulge in our recommended pleasures. (wink wink)
